Competition Day in Ljubljana
The Slovenian Competition Protection Agency (CPA) organized a traditional one-day conference on Remedies in Competition Law on 26 September 2019 in Ljubljana. About 80 participants from Slovenia and other countries contributed to the success of the conference.
This year’s conference was dedicated to most suitable selection and implementation of remedies in anti-trust and merger cases.
Within the first panel, participants discussed the objectives and limitations of remedies in competition law. The second panel discussed the use of competition remedies in practice with the view to restoring effective competition. Ana Pavlaković Skočić from the Croatian Competition Agency presented the use of remedies in recent cases in Croatia including the behavioural and structural remedies implemented to eliminate negative effects of mergers on competition.
