Mirna Pavletić Župić, J.D., M. Sc. Econ.

She was born on 5 January 1967 in Zagreb, Croatia.
In 1990 she graduated at the Faculty of law in Zagreb.
From 1999 to 2000 she attended the Diplomatic Academy at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
From 2000 to 2003 she became eligible for her postgraduate degree finals at the Faculty of law University of Zagreb in the area of commercial and company law. During the same period she obtained her master's degree at the Faculty of Economics and took her bar examination at the Ministry of Justice, Administration and Local Self-Government. She has been preparing her doctoral thesis at the Faculty of Economics in Zagreb under the title "The influence of competition policy on trade policy in the Republic of Croatia".
During her carrier it is important to point out that she held the post of the advisor in the Ministry of Construction and Environmental Protection from 1993 to 1996, and that of advisor to the Deputy Prime-Minister in the Government of the Republic of Croatia in the Office for Business Economics and Restructuring from 1996 to 1998.
From 1998 she was the assistant director general in the Competition Agency, until October 2003, when she was appointed member of the Competition Council.
She also participated in many projects; one of them especially worth mentioning was the "Project competition law" which took place from 1997 to 2003, carried out by the Faculty of Economics University of Zagreb and the Faculty of Economics University of Ljubljana, registered at the Ministry of Science and Technology.
She is the member of IBA London.
She has also written numerous scientific papers and articles in the area of commercial law and competition law and policy, which have been published in Croatia and abroad.
She speaks several foreign languages.
