The Regulation exempts agreements between different levels of the same supply chain from the EU\u2019s competition rules. In a business environment reshaped notably by the growth of e-commerce, this initiative aims to revise the rules to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>provide up-to-date guidance<\/li>\n<li>cater for business needs in accordance with competition rules.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The aim is to have revised rules in place for when the current rules expire.<\/p>\n<p>This roadmap is open for feedback for\u00a0<strong>4 weeks<\/strong>. Feedback will be taken into account for further development and fine tuning of the initiative. The Commission will summarise the input received in a synopsis report explaining how the input will be taken on board and, if applicable, why certain suggestions can&#8217;t be taken up.
