Working Meeting at the CCA as Part of the European Judicial Training Network Exchange Programme
As part of the European Judicial Training Network (EJTN) Exchange Programme, the Croatian Competition Agency (CCA) hosted Franziska Scholz, a judge from Germany, on 13 May 2025.
During the working meeting, experience and information were exchanged regarding the application of competition law in both Croatia and Germany.
The CCA regularly participates in such international cooperation initiatives, which contribute to strengthening professional capacities and enhancing the effective enforcement of competition law. During the meeting, the CCA representatives informed Judge Franziska Scholz about the CCA scope of work, including specific cases and challenges in the enforcement of competition rules in Croatia. Special emphasis was placed on the exchange of knowledge about practices and legal frameworks applicable to competition at both national and European levels.
The CCA participation in this form of international legal cooperation helps to build professional capacities and promote a shared understanding of legal standards within the European Union. These initiatives further strengthen inter-institutional cooperation and enable the exchange of experience that contribute to more effective competition law enforcement.
