We invite you to International Conference MEET TO COMPETE – REPEAT, Opatija, 14–15 May 2026

The International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) Croatia and the Croatian Chamber of the Economy invite you to the second edition of the international conference “MEET TO COMPETE – REPEAT: Competition Law and Policy Conference”, which will be held on 14 and 15 May 2026 in Opatija, at Hotel Ambasador (Feliksa Peršića 5), with the support of the Croatian Competition Agency.

The conference will once again bring together the representatives of competition law enforcement authorities, experts, regulatory policymakers, practitioners, and legal advisers to discuss current and emerging issues in competition law and policy. It will provide a forum for reflection on how competition law can remain effective, relevant, and responsive to market developments in an increasingly dynamic digital environment.

The programme will consist of a series of thematic panels and interactive discussions, addressing, inter alia, the evolving role of economic evidence, particularly in the context of the application of Article 102 TFEU; the definition of relevant markets and the assessment of market power in digital ecosystems; and an enforcers’ roundtable. Participants will also have the opportunity to engage with practical insights on litigation before the European Commission and the Courts of the European Union, drawing on experience from both sides of the trenches.

The second day of the conference will be dedicated to practical aspects and the exchange of experience. It will include a roundtable of in-house counsel focusing on the management of competition law risks and the provision of advice to market leaders, a roundtable of regional enforcement authorities, as well as two thematic workshops. Both workshops will be led by experienced practitioners and recognised experts in competition law.

The conference is intended for legal practitioners, judges, in-house counsel, regulators, economists, and other professionals involved in competition law matters at national and EU level.
