6th Šoljan Competition Conference
We invite you to the 6th Competition Law and Policy Conference in Memory of Dr Vedran Šoljan that will be held from 12 – 13 December in Zagreb at the University of Zagreb – Faculty of Economics and Business. The conference is organised by the Faculty of Economics and Business, the Croatian Competition Agency, the Croatian Association for Competition Law and Policy and the European Documentation Centre.
The conference traditionally gathers experts in the area of competition law and policy in Croatia. For the first time the official language of the conference will be English since there will be many Croatian speakers but also a remarkable number of distinguished guests from abroad, including professor William Kovacic from George Washington University, the experts from DG COMP, OECD, the Italian and Austrian national competition authorities, the Croatian Regulatory Authority for Network Industries (HAKOM) and the Croatian Competition Agency (CCA).
The first day of the conference will focus on the challenges we face in the enforcement of competition rules in Central and East Europe, whereas the second day will be dedicated to the recent developments in the implementation of competition rules on digital markets.
